Three Assignments God Gives to Parents and Grandparents

- Pass on the faith. Teach your offspring and be an example of what God has done and said, is doing and will do. What it means that they are a child of God and have their main identity in Christ.
Deuteronomy 6, Psalm 78:1-8, Ephesians 6:4, II Timothy 1:5 - Pray for your offspring and teach them to pray. John 17:6-12, Ephesians 6:18-20, I Timothy 2:1, James 5:16.
- Teach them to be wise. Protect them and then equip them as does the book of Proverbs how to be wise, what wise skills and tools to have so they do not, in their vulnerable years, make foolish decisions but wise ones, fending off evil at every turn.
